Kendall Anderson *SENIOR* #IotaSpotlight
"KENDALL ANDERSON, my girl. She is amazing in every way simply because of how loving and selfless she is. Kendall is the perfect example of an ADPi - caring, compassionate, smart, beautiful, and so much more. I could go on and on about just how amazing of a person she is!" -Brooke Potchen
"She is hands down the funniest person I've ever met in my entire life. My life has been forever changed for the better since I met Kendall. She will drop anything at any time to be there for someone, and she is one of the truest friends I've ever had." -Sara Hunter
"Kendall Anderson will always put a smile on your face. No matter the time or place, she will always make you laugh. Your day is automatically better after seeing her! It's not every day that you meet someone that can make such an impact on your mood" -Christine Brookshire
Congratulations to one of our last few seniors that we will be highlighting in our senior #IotaSpotlight series, Kendall Anderson! She is a member of our 2015 Alpha class and has been an active member in Alpha Delta Pi for the last three years. Kendall has served our chapter as a Philanthropy Committee member, a Pride Leader, and as the Membership Programming Chair. As the Membership Programming Chair, Kendall worked tirelessly to create a system that offered our sisters countless opportunities to bond together, while becoming active members of the chapter and the community.
"Within my first year I was able to hold multiple positions. This was extremely special to me because it helped me bond with my sisters. These leadership positions helped me prepare for my job as the Membership Programming Chair. It was definitely not an easy job, but it was so worth it in the end. I loved having the opportunity to to keep all of our members accountable and involved." -Kendall Anderson
As an advocate for involvement, Kendall has spent her undergraduate career leading by example. In her free time, Kendall works at an elementary school. She absolutely loves kids! Kendall is majoring in Psychology, with minors in both Business and Communications. After graduation, she hopes to move to Atlanta to pursue a career in human resources, or elementary education.
Kendall is truly "for the kids!" Through Alpha Delta Pi, Kendall had the opportunity to participate in Dance Marathon at FSU, benefiting Children's Miracle Network. Kendall stood by her sisters and represented ADPi as a dancer in Dance Marathon her sophomore and junior year. This year, Kendall had the privilege of serving as a Morale Captain!
"I couldn't be more thankful that ADPi gave me Dance Marathon. DM is so much more than just standing for 24 hours. It's about making a difference in the lives of those that need it the most. As my love for this organization grew, I knew I needed to become more involved. Becoming a Morale Captain was one of the best experiences of my entire life. I am so thankful that my sisters gave me the confidence and the encouragement to continue my involvement in DM. I don't know what I would have done if my sisters didn't encourage this passion of mine. Being a captain was such a humbling and inspiring experience. You really get an insight into all that goes into Dance Marathon. There is no better feeling than knowing that all of the sacrifices, time, and work you put in is going to such an important cause and changing children's lives. I got to witness all of the hard work and time the students put into making it so successful. I am forever grateful for the people I've met and for the organization that has taught me so much. It has truly shaped me into the person I am today." -Kendall Anderson
Congratulations to you, our sweet Kendall! You have truly touched every member of this chapter. We have been so very lucky to have you shine in this chapter and throughout the community these past three years.
